Bring Something – Take Something! Wilder Hyde’s Nature Swap – SUNDAY 8th May
It’s nearly Nature Swap Day!
We are holding our annual nature swap on Sunday 8th May on the corner of Egbert and Arthur Roads from 11am – 3pm.
Please pop along and share any spare seeds, seedlings, bulbs, garden equipment, bird feeders, plants etc and swap them for something you’d love for your garden or home.
Amongst other things we have wildflower seeds, and sunflower, chilli and tomato seedlings all looking for a new home!
(If you don’t have anything to swap don’t worry – there’s usually plenty to spare!).
This year we will also be selling a range of wildlife-friendly products including insect hotels, bee boxes, hedgehog homes and butterfly boxes made for us by Men’s Shed in Romsey.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 8th May!
Please observe social distancing regulations.
We look forward to seeing you!
Rewilding the verges in Abbotts Barton
A few of the members of Wilder Hyde set out recently, with mowers, rakes and biscuits in hand to trim the grass in Abbots Barton. This is to enable the wild flowers that were planted and have self sown last year, to have the best chance of growing this spring.
